Welcome! This interactive exhibit demonstrates the challenges the live habitats on the native islands face when any invasive species either in the form of Flora or Fauna is introduced in the island eco system.
This is exactly what happened on the San Nicolas island. With the introduction of invasive feral cats, the native foxes on the island faced a stiff competition that dramatically & adversely affected their survival. The increasing number of these cats made it difficult for foxes to find enough prey in order to survive on the island.
